The Mind of the Blues

The Blues (depression) hits us all at one time or another in our lives. The time of our Blues (depression) can come about when we are deceiving and believing that we are trapped. And a lot of us becaome trapped by these Blues to the point that we may decide to run away to the other side. Even though we don't know what's on the other side. Pain is the essence of the Mind of the Blues person. We can no longer hear the sweet music nor see the beautiful sky nor feel the warmth of life. Because we have created walls become deaf to the sweet sound and numb in our creation of a false reality. In our deception created by circumstances we can and cannot control, we must find a guiding light. Before you pull that trigger or jump from that bridge or take those 50 pills, you must travel deep inside your self to find the light of life and it's beauty. I have heard so many people say that there is no beauty, there is no light. I have seen the self victim hear a sound. To quote the legendary Jazz Poet Gil-Scott Heron; "ever feel down and out and don't know what to do? Livin all your days in darkness, let the sun shine through, Ever feel somehow, somewhere you lost your way? And if you don't get help you won't make it through another day. You can call on Lady Day, You can call on John Coltrane They'll wash your troubles, your troubles away".

You must put the Gun down and put the pills down and you must not Jump off that bridge.

Go inside your self and reflect in your mind and your space and time. Find the one thing the one reason to live. It may be an ancestral spirit (mother father) it may be a child. It may be God. At the end of the world embrace life. And keep on living.
